Thought i would post pictures on how i modified the rear lights to fit the face lift lights.

As you all know the the face lift light goes in the opposite way as to the pre face lift.




What i did was to cut the 2 semi-circles out from the guards and swapped them over.







I tried my hand at some plastic welding to put them back together. Wasnt easy and needed to re-enforce the rear of it




Used a little body filler to smooth things out and add some texture to try match the OEM look.






After all said and done they look pretty OEM and was well worth giving it ago. Final product.

Excellent ! Coming up with a solution to a problem, rather than just whinging about the lack of availability of none existent parts.
