Headlight washer fault

Happy November everyone Very Happy

headlight washers on my 2013MY are not quite playing the game

when i bought the FL2 in May one of the washers wasnt working. I put it down to disconnected or blocked pipe or maybe a faulty washer jet. As mine has Xenons the washers are required by law so i left it until last month when it was getting loads of 10 year service stuff done, ready for MOT this month.

Washer pipe were swapped over at the pump and the fault moved to the other washer, so the pipework and jets are ok both sides back to the pump.

New pump ordered and fitted which has improved the washer performance but the one now spits rather than sprays and the working one is more like a jet wash. Once again the fault moves if the pipes are swapped at the pump.

Windscreen washers remain unaffected as they are on a separate pump.

any suggestions anyone ? Its passed its MOT with no advisories but id like to resolve it if i can.

TIA

Rog
