A bit off topic and a seemingly stupid question but I have just fitted a new front knuckle and bearing/hub (gen) on Td4 2010. Bought a new brake disc retaining screw (LR002080) but it is so tight after only 3 turns that I don’t dare do it up. The threads on the screw and in the hub seem fine. Can anyone tell me if it is also their experience that it is very tight? I have no desire to ram it in there given the previous one sheared off.

Many thanks.

Are you sure you have the disk on properly - The screw should only become tight when the disk is fully in position. The screws are not essential, only there to stop disk becoming dislodged when you remove a wheel.
Or the thread in the hub is already damaged or the threads are incompatible.

My Ford Fiesta ST doesnt have them at all and yes the disk falls loose when I take a wheel off. Jules

Again, the part number he mentioned is for MY 2012+, his profile says his car is 2010. So that's probably the issue.
