I have a MY14 td4 gs
I have the chance of new wheels with TPMs
Is it just the case of getting this function enabled at the dealership or is it more difficult than that

I have a 2014 plate SD4 - it came with TPMS wheels.
I'd have thought your car would have had them from new too.

Apparently its only on the MY15 models Jules

You can program them yourself and have them installed at a tire shop, you can buy a doongle which will program them. A tire shop might also have the equipment.

You can actually install them yourself as well, but you'll have to use a creative DIY technique to break the bead on the tires (see youtube).

If you buy them yourself, make sure you get the correct ones, they are different for North America and Europe and the receiver in your vehicle will only work with one.

First confirm that you have the receiver installed then you can get the senders and install. You can turn the function on or off with JLR SDD and a Mongoose cable in engineering mode or through the PDI section of SDD or both. I can't remember now, lol.
