Apart from being a 4 letter word, a jeep is a miltitary vehicle designed to last a fortnight, however you state a reconditioned turbo, there are various reconditioned states ranging from a quick blast with cleaner to a proper rebuild, cost does not always guarantee a decent product, do I assume you have no warranty on the unit, I would suggest you purchase a warranted turbo from a reliable company, though there may be a problem in Ireland

Even if the new turbo was good, unless the reason for the original failure is discovered then the new one can fail in rapid succession.
