AGM Battery charging

Now retired my FL2 is hardly getting used, it has a new F21 Varta AGM can anyone tell me if I can use a "intelligent" battery charger on GEL setting to keep battery topped up ? or do I need one specificly for AGM batteries? The one I have is a Sakura 5.3 amp.

Seems voltages for AGM and GEL are much the same.

FWIW
My Ctek charger doesnt have a GEL option only AGM (and standard Lead acid) and Ctek told me to use AGM mode for my Fiesta's EFB battery. Jules

Yes I was told by JLR its ok to use the GEL setting in absence of a AGM setting but I wanted a second opinion as do not want to wreck a brand new battery. it seems AGM batteries do not like to be overcharged so an intelligent or smart charger cuts out once it reaches full charge, however I also read that the GEL setting will not fully charge a AGM ? is this true or not? I dont know? 2013 FL2 XS.

According to that link above, the GEL charging voltage is slightly lower or the same as AGM. Enough to make a difference ? I have no idea. Jules
