Connector ID please?

Hi, Only had my FL2 (facelift) for a couple of weeks and just noticed this connector near the battery compartment in the engine bay. Should it be connected or is a breather or something else?
Thanks in advance

It looks like the breather for the battery box

This is a breather tube as said and should plug into a little hole in the end of the top of the battery itself. If the battery has been changed recently you might find a little bung in the hole this goes into. That's there to stop spillage during storage and transport. Just prise out and fit breather tube. Andy
