A/C hot air

So it is currently 41 degs here in Southern Spain. Just been for a drive out, A/C working perfect. Stopped off for refreshments, got back in the car to drive home, 20kms, but the A/C was just blowing hot air.
Tried various settings etc, but its just HOT air coming from the vents.
Time for a re-gas? or something more sinister? Local garage not open til Monday, any advice would be much appreciated .

Update
System is fully gassed.
Fault code N2101.
Doing research now on that.....

N2101 doesn't exist anywhere in this modern world!!!

Checked EVERY fuse. All ok.

Still hot air, has anyone else had this problem! Please? I don't want to drive with the windows open like poor people do. Neutral

If you want to drive in pure luxury. Keep the heat from the engine bay out & external heat, it is surprising what comes through the roof. Add acoustic foam insulation, it has great thermal properties.

Hi,

can you hear if the compressor/clutch is engaging, unit actually working, try lifting the bonnet and getting someone in the car to turn the a/c off then back on again and listen for it starting to work, you may hear engine come under load as well.

ISTR you can hear them engage, but that may just have been much older cars Confused

worth checking.

Thumbs Up .
my first ever FL2 and I did keep it longer than most other cars!
But its now gone way up Norf

Thanks for the replies guys.
The N2101 actually referred to a fault on the electronic side of the AC system.
I swapped the AC relay in the engine compartment fuse box (Labled R3) and all working again!!
