Two Iconic Cars?

You might have to stand on your head to view these🙃 Not a Beetle fan myself but I agree with their status as one of the greatest family cars of their era. Looks tiny next to my Freelander and is worth a lot more but I still wouldn’t swap.

Very nice, indeed. Certainly historic but is it really iconic ? Jules

For once I will agree with Jules.
Very nice, but for it to be iconic a large section of the public should be able to recognise it.

The Beetle certainly falls into that class, as does the Mini, not so sure that outside a LR forum the Freelander falls into the Icon category - there you go blasphemy. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

Love the mini and I also love your workshop-not sure something that big can be called a garage! MG is in beautiful condition-good taste all around. Classic car prices have gone through the roof now. I have been looking for a nice TR6 but I am struggling to find one for sensible money.

This is my icon - instantly recognisable

The Freelander 1 was the first LR to have a monocoque, so maybe the FL2 is iconic for being the most reliable Landrover.
