I drove one of those up mountain passes in Austria, had to take a run up to do the last 20 yards into hotel car park. nest day i got in and had the time to inspect the settings it was in ECO. Went a lot better in true hire car sport mode

As I was once the owner of two Reliant Regal's, Two Reliant Supervan's, and a Reliant Robin all at separate times, I am probably not best qualified to comment on the Nissan - but would have swapped the Juke for the Evoke any day Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

The MK1 Reliant Robin was a design classic. Simple lines that worked and now deserving classic stateus.

Dad had an old Bond three-wheeler that pre-dated the Bug. Powered by a motorbike engine of no more than 500 cc I suppose, no reverse gear so when he took his test he simply swung it around in the road instead of the required three point turn. And having no reverse gear meant that it would always be the other vehicles having to back up in a head-on situation |

Few years back a Robin came up at, Aylsham Auctions, a minter in the right colour, Orange, could not bid on it as I was away but it sold for £500. 2 days later it was on eBay for £1000. Less than an hour it was sold. |

I had one of those. It had a 125cc Villiers two stroke engine and you had to open the bonnet to kick start it motorbike style. At some time I put a "DynaStart" system on it which allowed you to start it electronically and had the advantage that you could also start the two stroke engine in reverse, so it would drive in reverse in all three gears. I saw this Aston Martin last week parked in the Royal Crescent in Bath. Pretty ugly I thought.
