If you open all the windows with the unlock button on the fob, the doors will re-lock after a short time but still leave the windows open. Cool

If you close the windows with the lock button check they are all fully closed before the second press to deadlock - or they'll stop closing. Surprised

I quite like the boot only open button feature but am sure I'll (one day) lock the keys inside when I close the boot. Big Cry

I wanted to double check with you guys that there is no feature (FL2 09 HSE) that would allow auto-locking after:

1. Removing fob from immobiliser
AND
2. Closing all doors
AND
3. Good period (at least 10 minutes) of car alone

I know there is a massive risk of leaving the fob elsewhere inside Big Cry but it could be smaller than the risk of leaving the car unlocked after unloading for instance, and since the folding mirrors are tell-tale attract a Censored . 2009 HSE TD4 Auto (no additional toys... yet)

Beware of this - I recently had a flat battery and the only cause I can think of is that I used the boot opening feature, which "woke up" the electrics, and that they didn't shut down when the car relocked itself. I now always double lock again to be sure, and haven't had the battery problem since.
