Front parking sensors

Thanks to a suicide pigeon which I hit at about 60mph, the third front parking sensor from the nearside has been knocked back out of its seating and is now dangling within the housing behind the front number plate area with apparently no access from above or below. to press it back into position. Whilst long nosed pliers will grab the unit, I have not found it possible to pull it back into position. Any thoughts please to avoid having to dismantle half the front end of the car. I assume it is not possible to isolate a single sensor to avoid 'it' thinking there is an obstruction. TIA for any thoughts.

I'd bet the bracket is popped off the back of the bumper and will need glueing back on.

Pretty much going to be a bumper shell off job, it's not too difficult, just put something soft down for it to land on.

And no you can't disable just one sensor, but the all front sensors can be disabled in the CCF.

Thank you Vanny. Yes, I think the bracket has been separated from the shell. What fun!

If you need to remove the bumper shell look at the powerfullUK website the video is excellent and gives clear instructions where all the bolts are, took me approx 1hr to replace the horns, rea.ly please how simple it was.
