official LR accessories get 3 year warranty if fitted when car is new or in the first few months of its life. So yes try a claim. I suspect dealer will wriggle out of it - wrong kind of salt type of excuse.

2 years old and already rusting. Screws stuck. Was going to fix it today.

Mine were changed last week when it went in for a service. Just mentioned it to them and they changed both brackets holding the 12N and 12S sockets on. Like you these were fitted to the car by the dealer when the car was new. The dealer was Conwy Land Rover.

One of the used cars I was looking at here had that too. It was a year old and only had 15,000km or so. The seller said that it was very common here and not something that was preventable. But he was trying to sell me a car so.... |

Noticed the other day that mine is in a similar state - I guess they should look like they are that LR or have you just forgotten what rust prevention is

Mine is in a similar state. The first mounting panel was changed at the two year service, and now the replacement is even worse.

I must say thanks to all the vanners around Harrogate today ( all off home early in bad moods as it rained on/in their tin tents all night ) without you blocking the roads I would have got to my destinations faster and had more time to enjoy myself, cheers lads At work
