United States 2008 LR2 i6 HSE Auto Rimini Red
It is finished

A friend of mine works at a body shop across the street from where I work. I asked him if he'd help me replace the badges because I knew I'd mess them up. I think it looks good! Smile

I finally put on the Bow down Freelander 2 badges to replace the LR2 badges.

What do y'all think? I carry a gun because I can't carry a cop.

I preferred LR2 1 but would have been better spaced out slightly ie LR 2 At work

I don't like the look of the tool you used to remove the old letters-any scratches??
I use a hair dryer to warm the glue (adhesive) then a length of dental floss to peel the letters off.

That was the tool he told me he uses on all of those badges.

The Cadillac Dealership's bodyshop is across the street from where I work and the guy that did that does all their paint over there. I've seen the cars he's painted, extremely pretty.

He never even touched the paint with that tool. I have no idea how he didn't, because I know I would have messed it up badly.

That's why I left it to the professional.

The only payment he requires es una cervaza y un burrito

If y'all take those off, you should post them up on some American websites I'm sure some people would want to buy them.

Could be a way to make about 75 euro

I bought my letters from the dealership in Amsterdam, I don't know what list price was, I just know the parts manager gave me some kind of discount (which caught me by surprise because an email he sent me before that indicated a higher price) but if I remember right, I paid right at 125 euro for "Freelander 2" and "Discovery 3" badges. I carry a gun because I can't carry a cop.
