[For Sale] Freelander 2 HID Xenon Headlamp Kit also Logo Pud

Face lift so 2013 on Xenon HID Plug and Play Canbus error free kit, easy to install and vastly improves the crap standard lights, they do not dazzle on coming traffic, they are just a huge improvement to night driving, also included a pair of Land Rover Logo door puddle lights which are very smart.
£40 collected Worcestershire or £45 posted Uk mainland

Changing a Halogen headlight to HID is an automatic MOT failure. Extract for latest guidelines to testers " Vehicles presented with converted halogen headlamp units first used on or after 1 April 1986 will continue to be failed."

Hi Graham sorry for late reply yes still available and very easy to fit took me about 30 mins as you need to mount the ballasts, 10 mins to remove all plug and play and a massive improvement to night time vision

Mot testers have passed members vehicles fitted with these without question however even if there was to be a problem, a 10mm spanner and 10 minutes work will have the halogen bulbs back in and functioning to please a tester. For the improvement they bring that slight inconvenience once a year is a small price to pay. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Yes but you wouldn’t want that to stop the chance of f*****g up a sales post would you? Whistle Regards

Quite the opposite, I'd have thought such confirmation would assist the sale? Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Not your post Bob.......the other helpful post stating they are illegal.

I agree with yours, I’ve used them many times before and if fitted properly and aimed correctly they are perfect, and NEVER had one fail, and TBH wouldn’t in the future either. Regards

David

Many may get away with them at a MOT tester, they are however illegally fitted as pointed out above. My concern would be in the event of a night time accident what view would an insurer take? 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 Manual Dynamic
