Australia 2009 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Santorini Black
Seat height adjustment

Not sure if it's just my car but my auto height adjuster can only adjust the height of the seat, and not just the front part. Most electric seats are suppose to be able to adjust the front part (under thigh support). I feel that without it there is always a gap between my leg and the seat, causing discomfort with long drives.

Mine is a 2009 HSE, is that what it's suppose to be like? Anyone else experience the same?

United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto Santorini Black

This is one of my main complaints of the freelander, although I thought the HSE had 8way electric seats that adjusted the front of the seat, An XS, at only £31,000 only get 6 way electric seats that tip up the seat base as the seat is raised, reduscing the amount of underthigh support. It really is penny pinching, as you say every other electric seat adjusts 8 ways (the VW electric seats adjust 12 ways). Having said that £31,000 doesn't get you a leather steering wheel either.

Mine is an 2008 HSE model, and has only the 6way electric seats. I think that in some markets the 2009 HSE models got the 8way seats.
