The (black) leather of the front seats of my 2009 Freelander 2 is showing signs of wear. The leather begins to crack in the middle of the backrest. The seam in the middle of the seat has given way, ....

I am looking for the reference (s) in order to get an idea of the price if I change the upholstery of the seat and backrest by the original one or an equivalent (keeping the heated seats).

Can you help me ? My Land Rover dealership does not provide this kind of information.

A trimmer may be your best option and could replace the affected areas. Either that or a breaker but I suspect they would rather sell an entire leather interior rather than just the driver's seat. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

All the seat components have part numbers, allowing the dealer to order whatever parts you need.

The owner of a Discovery 3 I maintain was able to purchase a complete seat base for the driver side, where the leather was cracking at the drag point on entry and exit.

LR have to provide parts for 10 years after, so they will be available.
