It's probably the tailgate switch, see here: https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic6143.html |

Tailgate/fuel cap fuse is F25, which is under the glove box. It's 10amp. 2007 TD4 HSE |

Thank you, but is there more than one 10amp - how do you know which one it is please as they do not appear to be referenced when I have looked in there? Thanks |

No - not that I can see - I was expecting them to be referenced so you know which one it is? There is no plastic lid when I have removed the glove box? My boot is still opening all the time - help please! 😡😄 Thank you! 👍 |

I'm with grumsel on this on.....first I had issues actually opening the tailgate with the switch (worked with the remote) then I had issues with it unlatching while driving. Replaced tailgate switch with one from the dealer (price was competitive), no more issues. There is a youtube vid on this by PowerfulUK. |

I had those issues but wanted it sorted before it got to the unlocking stage as my dog goes in the back he’s a big old sod and it wouldn’t take much for him to end up out of it.I got my tailgate switch from a member on here it’s so’s easy to do but it’s worth getting some of the plastic panel clips beforehand eBay is good for these and when taking the boot door panel off it’s good to have someone hold the actual door for you and give it a good hard tug. |
