Not done it wouldn't do it on a FL2 as the rear Differential is only just up to the job in standard tune, more torque can only bring an earlier demise Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Rimini Red

I reckon the rear diff will be fine. It's pretty beefy, but made badly.
The pinion bearings are far too tight from the factory, which is why they fail early.

With a correctly rebuilt rear diff, it should be fine.
The PTU is the weak link, along with the gearbox/clutch, none of which are really up to the job, if increased torque is going to be found. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Lago Grey

Celtic tuning down in cornwall did mine over 2 years ago. I have seen an MPG increase of 5mpg on average and it runs allot better now, smoother power delivery, it doesn't smoke like some mapped diesels do either. They have a really good reputation in the Honda community and used them when I owned a Civic 2.2.

Scotland 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Baltic Blue

I've an Alive map on our SD4 courtesy car.

Does 50+ mpg on a run, puts out best part of 230bhp, its great fun. Been mapped for 2½ years, and not put a foot wrong, other than a split turbo hose
