Welcome - you'll get a lot of help from members on here. Not from me mind, I've not a clue beyond opening doors, pressing the start button and refuelling |

Had mine roughly 7 months now and still think it's a fantastic car. Cruises nicely on the Motorway, pulls a caravan easily and was also great fun in the snow. |

I bought mine about 18 months ago as a 2nd car, and the ride is better than my 15 year old Mercedes. Potholes are something I don't feel so much now. Freelander 2 gets more use than the Mercedes despite poorer fuel consumption. |

Cheers guys for the warm welcome. I'm really looking forward to being an owner of a great British car again.

Looks nice, although there's not much British about it, other than it was assembled here. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Gone. 2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE. Gone. Audi A5 convertible, my daily driver. 1972 Hillman Avenger GT, the project. |

Hello Madon and welcome to the forum, im newish here too having joint before a became the proud owner of my car last week. There is loads of help here from some very knowledgeable owners, I am like as some others are and lost once past checking the oil pressure. I am loving my car not been too far in it yet apart from the 160 miles or so drive home from collecting it. Just as someone else said all the pot holes seem to have gone too now. I am looking to tow a caravan with mine and I would welcome any comments from other members who do the same |

Superb tow cars, I tow an 8m twin axle Swift Challenger Sport. I used to have a Discovery 2 Td5 manual and was concerned that it wouldn't be as good a tow car, I needn't have worried it's better! Doesn't have the same weight to hustle the van or the boot capacity but my Sd4 (auto) is just effortless. Had it down to the Pyrenees in summer 2019 with 4 bikes on the roof and far far too much red wine in the boot and in the caravan. A couple of weeks ago it towed 3.7 tonnes of stone, and a trailer. I can't praise this gutsy little 4x4 enough.

Thanks Madon I only have a small 4 berth one just now my intention is to upgrade to something bigger now I have the car to pull it, its good to know its capable of towing a large van. I keep looking at Bobs outfit it looks superb all hitched up, oneday I will have something like that hopefully. I hope you enjoy yours im loving mine gave it the first wash today and fitted a boot liner yesterday which the dog has already got dirty. |
