England 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Indus Silver
Rear windows

Both rear electric windows do not work. Checked fuses all ok. Any ideas

Try resetting, hold both switches in the up position for about ten secs with ign on. 2013 FL2 XS.
Defender 90 300 TDi.
Defender 90 300 TDi CSW.

Ok I will try that tomorrow. Do you think a hard reset might help. I’ve read a few posts on here and a hard reset seems to cure many problems.

When you do what Rommel says, you should be able to hear the motor engage and disengage. If you don't, definitely try a hard reset, it's cured many ails...

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

Last week when the car was frozen both my front windows refused to work when it had thawed out the still wouldn’t go up or down so I disconnected the battery for a while and then they worked,had to reset them but not the rears.

Could be worse.

In the Australian outback, when you have the windows open a bit & at the last moment a roadtrain comes around a bend at 100kph.

You press the button to close the windows, but due to the corrugated roads the windows open & you suffocate in dust.
