Proper Geometry settings and setup

I have just had my MOT back with uneven wear on the fronts. My understanding is its a fairly regular trait. I know there is lots of talk about proper alignment on the forum but does anyone bother with a proper full Geo set up.

All my other cars get taken to Black Boots in Chesham for a proper geo set up and alignment. Way over what gets done by the laser machines at the standard tyre places.

I haven't taken the FL up there yet but i wondered how worth while it is. Its about £100 odd and has been magic on my E-Class and a revelation on my S2000.

How adjustable are the various parameters on the Freelander and is there enough adjustment to make it worth while? '07 i6 Petrol XS

Just get it done! Since having a 4 wheel alignment done by an expert I’ve only changed tyres due to even wear or unrepairable punctures. £100 is the cost of 1 tyre or a tank and a half of fuel. You can easily reduce the life of tyres by a quarter and increase fuel consumption with poor wheel alignment.

Diesel is about £1.25 ppl, about 2.25 Ozzy dollars to you. Common sense isn't very common.

And a huge proportion of that is tax, either fuel duty or VAT.

A couple of months ago the Covid effect dropped our diesel price to around £1.13, the trouble was that no-one was driving anywhere to to take advantage of the lower fuel cost.

Last time I bought fuel in Oz i commented that it was the cheapest fuel I had ever bought. The guy in the shop got quite irate thinking I was being sarcastic. I eventually calmed him down and told about european fuel prices which he found hard to believe. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
