When I did my cam belt last year, I used the gates kit. I found a drain plug in the base of the waterpump, which was not tight, and allowed a small amount of coolant to escape. Others in this forum have found the same. Just an idea, perhaps worth checking as it's not difficult to access, and you have had your cam belt changed recently. |

as above , I changed my cam belt last year with a gates kit and noticed the drain plug was loose as I fitted the pump so tightened then . 2009 FL2 S now gone

Check the thermostat housing on RH side of cylinder head, that's common, mine has had a weep from it for 2 years, I've got the part but not fitted it. I believe EGR coolers are known to leak too, you won't see that unless you took it off. |

Thermostat housing or hooses connection. Had leaks on them too. One fitting was cracked on half seam. Also tube to reservoir can leak sometimes and it is hard to find as coolant evaporate so not much to seek for drops...
