'Owners of Hyundai Tucsons up to six years old have been told to park the vehicles in an open space away from garages and flammable materials due to fears a manufacturing error could lead to the car's engine catching fire, even when the vehicle is turned off.'

Is this peculiar to far east made vehicles as the USA and Europe use two different factories my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Who knows, but probably pays to be careful anywhere in the world until the situation is clear. Reading between the lines it looks like they are moving quickly... Slowly!
