Dial view screen FL2 2013

Has anyone tried to put a dual view monitor instead of a regular one? in theory, everything should work, there is an opportunity to register it in the sd, only one physical button is missing to switch the monitor

I've had dual view working in the FL2. Problems are two fold;

1) I used a donor from an L405, so 8" instead of 7", so it physically does not fit.
2) The IAM needs to receive in the CCF transmission (#400) that it is installed in a suitable model to start the dual view software in the IAM. In my case, I had to change the CCF for the car to think it was a Range Rover. I built a bridge to automatically change the #400 CAN message as it went into the IAM.

Oh, on the very first time it is powered up in a new car, it reboots three times. This is pretty normal, I think changing the internal software settings as the CCF arrives. Once this has happened once, it worked fine.

I never got as far as putting in an alternative button, but using the same CAN bridge, it is easy to map the CAN message for DUal View to another button press.
