Si6 belt change

Has anyone done this job on their driveway at home? I'm beginning to regret having started it....
I thought I'd replace the belts as I'm already doing the thermostat. There is no clearance anywhere, for anything and all of the bolts on the lower half of the engine have either badly corroded heads or are seized in.
Please tell me this is do-able!

Craig,

I've done it twice once on my LR2 and the second time on my S80 3.2

Are you replacing the overdrive pulley? That does make it a little harder and requires special tools.

Here is my write up

https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic32103.html

And a friend wrote this about the replacement

Good luck

Paul

Craig,

Here is my write up for the Thermostat

https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic32245.html

Note: I typically do the Thermostat and the AUX belt on different weekends because there is very little overlap in terms of what needs to be removed

Good luck

Paul
