As far as I know, the knee airbag cover is a one way deal. You'll need to replace the whole module. It's obviously a safety system, which needs to be correct, or it might not work when it's needed. Ok it’s looking expensive for you so how about this ? Get some Emery paper and rub down inside the top and bottom of the cover right at the corners and also where they would meet up when closed. Clean with some kind of alcohol and apply four one each corner super strong sticky things with the spongy bit in the middle press together then tape in place for a while until they have had a chance to bond. If it works I’m pretty much sure it wouldn’t hinder the airbag going off if it needed to. |

There are 4 screws that are holding the airbag panel in place.
