Might be a stupid answer, but does the one-shot close work on the door switches?

If the memory has been lost (battery disconnected) the windows will go down in one shot, but will not come up.
Try the re-calibration, send them all the way down, send them all the way up, and within a few seconds while they are up send them up again and hold for a couple of seconds. This needs to be done for every window. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

Press the switch upwards to close and keep it held until you hear a click.

I thought that the auto close had been removed as it was deemed unsafe, it was available in the FL1. MY13 HSE Lux Santorini Black Gone

In Australia we can't have all the windows go up as we are a nanny state. If you have the tools & know what you are doing you need to edit the CCF code. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Mine go down & up using the remote. I personally didn’t edit the CCF (although I do have that ability), they have always done it. I am the third owner & prior to my ownership, it was main dealer serviced! Maybe it depends on the dealer selling it originally, as to what was activated in the CCF. (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Try the re-calibration, send them all the way down, send them all the way up, and within a few seconds while they are up send them up again and hold for a couple of seconds. This needs to be done for every window.

Yes One shot open and close works
Raised windows and held until click
No affect Still wont close on locking Rolling Eyes

If it closed on locking there would be no option to leave a window partially open for pets or other reasons, if one wanted to have that option then LR would have had to add it to a stalk option, as we all know LR like to have all options as dealer selected options at a cost my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

My remote also closes and opens the windows. It's very handy. Press to lock. Press to lock again. Hold the lock button until the windows go up.

Best is that I can open the windows, then lock the doors and set the alarm with the windows open for those hot days at home. MY11 SD4 SE Auto
