Bluetooth is slow, hand grind some coffee beans & have a break! From memory you can only transfer a maximum of 200 photos as a batch. Took me days with gigabytes of photos, but I was not in a rush.

My Mac it too old & it have a very old OS, for other reasons. So I gave up on the USB cable. My phone is Android.

Once you have set up Bluetooth with password between the two devices that's it. As long as BT is on when you next turn on the computer you simply select the device from the list that you want to send the file to & press accept on the other device. It is easy.

It is slow but it is the easiest solution.

If all else fails get a neighbour's kid to set it up!

Any old PDF reader will do as there is nothing complex about the file. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Right click on the pdf file and select "open with" and see if you have a pdf viewer option? If not, you will have to download one "free" one onto your PC and select the file you want to open with it. Also, the search function for the workshop manual will be in the drop down menus under "find".....follow the function key prompts to go to the next result once the search reaches 100%.

Best and light (just a single EXE file) PDF viewer is SumatraPDF.
