My brother has been on the hunt for a replacement for CX-5 for a while and has bombarded me with FL2 over the last few months for my thoughts.

Agree - Metropolis is fully specced up - and the Xenon headlamps are especially worthwhile FL2 SD4 XS 2013 Orkney Grey |

The only problem with that Metropolis is that it is black. I hate cleaning black cars - it's soul destroying. Jules |

Looks like they've both got the heated steering wheel I'd go for the Metropolis as well though. Not keen on the sunroof personally but I'd choose it out of those two for the extras like Xenons, Rear Camera and Memory Seats. Only little concern is the parking sensor button seems to be stuck in on every picture? |

Hi... another vote for the Metro. They're "Peak FL2"!

+ One for the Metropolis! The xenons, heated steering wheel and windsor leather seats everytime! Higher mileage but a year newer! Also no dog guard or towbar so less chance of doggy smells or towing abuse! The white one looks to have been a bit neglected in its earlier years looking at the MOT history. See OY63BNN or OV64UKL for the black one. |

I agree the Metro is a nice comfy car with most of the useful extras available on any car. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011) FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015) Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History (Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?) |

I love cleaning black cars, so satisfying. They just don't tend to stay clean long. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948 2014 Orkney grey Freelander SD4 GS. 2004 Zambezi silver Discovery 2 Td5 (Gone) 1963 Surf blue Morris Mini Minor Super de Luxe (my little toy) |

I'd suggest a newer CX5. We have a 68 plate CX5 SportNav and a recently acquired 58 plate FL2. The FL2 has a more commanding driving position by comparison, but the CX5 is miles ahead in build quality, performance and reliability is going to be miles ahead too. The Freelander wins in bad road conditions, and the CX5 isn't designed for off road at all, but for general, dependable family transport, the CX5 is pretty hard to beat, and our SportNav has everything the top spec Freelander gets, and a power tailgate too. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Gone. 2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE. Gone. Audi A5 convertible, my daily driver. 1972 Hillman Avenger GT, the project. |
