England 2012 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Zermatt Silver
Part LR006150 Coolant Overflow Hose Expansion Tank to engine

Less than a month into taking delivery of used 2012 Freelander , got the low coolant warning light. Discovered that the small pipe that runs from the coolant overflow hose expansion tank to the engine had come off at the engine end. It is a "squeeze, push on, unsqueeze fitting.
I know that the cambelt/water pump were replaced before sale but I don't know if that would have required the removal and replacement of that pipe. If it does, maybe it wasn't put back back on properly.

If it it didn't need to be removed, any idea as to why it would it have come off, please? I would have thought that going over a bump shouldn't dislodge it.

I'll probably get a new one to be on the safe side unless it is the sort of thing that if put on properly cannot come off. Has anyone else experienced this please?

I’ve found things like that are better if you put them on dry as liquid seems to make them slip.
