Seatbelt/AirBag

My Seatbelt and Air bag light would turn on after driving and it stays on and won't go away. At first in the summer it would turn on and then go off for awhile, but now it just stays on. If anyone can help me out. Thanks.

I did a search on this forum:

Not sure personally what it means other than the airbag/airbag electronics has been disabled/defective? But hopefully someone with better info will contribute. The NA forum unfortunately does not get a lot of traffic here however. If you have a code reader, there maybe a code stored in the ECU.

check you have nothing 'heavy' on the passengers seat.
I have had a problem with placing shopping on the passengers seat, whilst drive as only occupant in vehicle.
