White Paintwork

Looking for recommendations for car wax polish on white paintwork: that is easy to apply even in sunlight, doesn't need claybar or any other abrasive action, single application, long lasting. The primary need is not for show but protection, specially to make cleaning easier after long continental drives through swarms of bugs, and to facilitate careful jet washing after long winter journeys.
Separately, will ceramic brake pads eliminate brake dust on wheels?

On the issue of brake pads - some ceramics will produce less, some not. Depends on the composition. I have ceramics on the rear and certainly less dust. The brand I was originally going to get I was advised that they wouldn't lessen the dust.

I'm going ceramic on the front soon, for the dust issue. Was going Brembo, given my experience on the rear I may use that brand again.
Ah, Remsa is the one. MY11 SD4 SE Auto

I only wash the car about once a year. Anything with Carnauba wax in it will do. Probably the car should be washed & waxed a bit more often but I couldn't be bothered. I do clean it thoroughly after an outback trip, but I actually concentrate more so on all the hidden areas.

You will be surprised with the amount of crap in the boot hinges https://vimeo.com/365636879 also under the black plastic strip on the rear bumper.

https://www.meguiars.com/automotive/produc...-oz-liquid I put the wax on with a slightly damp Wettex https://www.vileda.com/au/wettex-wet-sponge-cloth-3-pk-3583.html dish cloth, let a section dry while polishing the previous section with a microfiber cloth, starting with the roof, a 2 step platform makes life easier. About 30 minutes to wax the car after a 2 bucket wash, actually use 3 buckets to clean the sponge better (also use a Wettex). Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

This would produce good results on white but like any polish will require topping with a coat of wax or sealant . Clean Your Car do a great range .

I have replaced the front and rear discs and pads with Brembos and have used them on many cars and bikes over the years, good quality kit. Thumbs Up
