Screen upgrade ?

In my wife's car she has the following head unit and display.
Is there any way to upgrade the screen to a larger colour one of maybe a touchscreen.
I've tried searching but I only find answers for the previous versions and not this one.

Can it be done, yes.
How easy is it? Not very.

My understanding is these low spec cars do NOT have the wiring in place for the Gen2 infotainment system. So you'll need to either make the harness from scratch of replace the multitude of main harnesses involved in the infotainment. I bet you'll be looking at £3k+ from Land Rover for the harness.
You'll need quite a few electric modules too.

Which ever way you source the parts, you'll then be into an entire interior out job to lay the harnesses. Then a decent diagnostic session to program it all in.

It's a few days work if you know what your doing. A week or more if you don't, best guess.

So it's not a simple thing to do, possibly why no one has done it on here yet.
