sounds like a sticking caliper. Do you have the electric handbrake? I would be looking at making sure that each caliper can slide freely. You might find that one pad out of a pair of pads on a caliper is worn down more than the other which will be a clue. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Yes it's an electric handbreak, went for a short drive today and before setting off I put it on and off a few times, felt the peddle didn't depress as much as it used to. However on the few stops the issue seemed to have gone |

Had this issue with mine then one day got out the car after a run & the O/S rear brake was really hot, the electric calliper was jammed on,£100 got me a reconditioned one, so good idea to check for really hot brakes after a run. |

the pins can seize ,one of mine did and I copper slipped them, when I did the rear pads a year ago. |

Yes thanks Alex, it's booked in next Thursday to an indi garage 75 squid + vat. Have to wait a bit as he has a lot of work on at the moment... The hatfield official dealership has some trouble with their emails or something but I seriously doubt it's going to be any cheaper. they've come back with 174 squid so nearly 100 pound more
