[list=]Looks like they sold the white one then... the blue car looks a better bet than both the green an the white one. It had five advisories at last MoT test... first one is meaningless, second one trivial and then three that may still need attention.

Thanks for the continued interest. I think a lot of people on here have been members of the D2BC in the past.

Still miss my D2, despite being a happy Freelander owner! Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Hi Jim, Going to keep hold of Disco 2? The second one we had ended up with 5 plates welded on , 3 at the back and 2 at the front and if not for that we would have kept it. We got a disco 3 Auto after that and the difference in power, ride , and get up and go was terrific. the air suspension over 3 years and quite a lot of proper towing never even wanted one spare part! The rest of it seemed to always be wanting some small job or other being done. As I am way past my sell by date the need for a big 4x4 isn't there any more, I bought a SD4 Freelander, (she who I must obey doesn't like Evoques) and which for about 1 day seemed too small but now after nearly two months I find it so quick and handy. Disco 2,s are now just a memory of how sluggish they are in comparison even though they have the load capacity of a van. Freelander great for oldie like me. |

Remapped, egr, centre exhaust box and cat removed mine wasn't sluggish it did like to warp exhaust manifolds though. Chassis was pretty good on mine, never welded up to 13 years old, plenty of preventative wax oiling. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948
