I've bought a Thule Raceway Bike rack, and just assumed it would be easy to attach an external lighting board.

Problem is, I don't have a tow bar or external connector socket. I've looked inside the luggage compartment, assuming there was one under the floor of the compartment, but can't find any suitable connector. Do I need some sort of kit? Or have I just wasted a load of money, or am I missing something obvious?

The lighting board I looked locally at has a 7 pin connector.

(Sorry if this is a really stupid question. I've not needed to do this before.

The attached image is the only socket connector I could find - it's at the rear left under the floor.

This is the wring diagram that includes the trailer socket (not sure what MY).

you could wire it in an fix to the car. or just build a 'jumper' link between the Grey socket you found and the 7pin socket.
