set the mirrors where you want them then press and hold both buttons, on door control panel, together. Fixed. |

Doesn't seem to work on mine. Pressing the two buttons together folds the mirror but it doesn't make it automatic on locking/unlocking. Should I be doing something else at the same time as pressing the buttons - scratching my head; singing the national anthem...? |

You can turn auto folding on or off in the menu on MY13 or younger cars yourself, but I'm not sure on older cars. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

It's a pre Evoque style electronics MY2011 or MY2012. Does anyone know exactly what the Dealer changes, and can it be done easily? Easily done with SDD and a Mongoose cable or an iidtool but learning to use SDD is priceless and requires a good constant battery voltage supply charger and per our Freel2.com tech savants, also, a few pairs of brown pants. I s**t you not!

I thought on models fitted with the folding mirrors upto 2012 (pre MY13 facelift) you could configure them yourself by manually folding them in or out by hand ?

Note: If the mirrors are manually folded or knocked into the folded position accidentally, the mirror head will be loose. To re-engage the mechanism, fold, then unfold the mirrors using the switches.

did you try pressing them both together and keeping the buttons pressed for a few seconds after the mirrors have folded in ? |
