Slammed Discovery Sport

Forgive me if this has been posted on the Discovery site - I don't visit it Shocked

Luckily it's just a rendering.
However, I can see how it could make a great 4x4 rally car if it wasn't quite so close to the floor !!
Sadly, the more I look at it, the more I like it................. I'll get my coat Whistle

I actually quite like that too. Just a wee bit higher off the ground and it'd be the LR Impreza. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

And now for a reasoned balanced opinion - it's horrendous Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

I really have to say, why? Why would you take a perfectly good usable motor and turn it into the most impractical motor on the planet (I suppose I have answered my own question, because you can)

I mean a 4x4 is meant to have decent ground clearance to go over rough terrain isn't it, and if it is just speed/handling you are after then the new Aston would be a better option.

if this is the style you want, then I think you are all on the wrong forum.  MY2014 SD4 XS

Nope, dont understand the whole 'slammed scene' at all. Take an expensive car, spend a fortune on trick suspension, wheels and tyres in order to make it impractical uncomfortable and unusable. How do these cars pass an mot, how are they insured? Seriously? Rolling Eyes Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

As stated in the first post, just in case you didn't catch it QUOTE:"However, I can see how it could make a great 4x4 rally car if it wasn't quite so close to the floor !!"

The Milner LRM-1 "Evoque".

THIS ^^^^ is what I see in that Disco Sport rendering. Forget about being slammed to the floor, look past that and imagine it being set up like the Milner. That's exactly what I can see.

And just in case nobody caught it the first time "It's a bloody rendering - NOT REAL".

Laughing Laughing I still like it.
I wouldn't have one but it's a good customizing option.
Love the Milner.... Thumbs Up
