Can I straight swap a headlight with del from a 2014 into a 2009 model with norm bulbs as plugs look similar ?

NO, sorry. the lamps look the same, mechanically will fit BUT the electrical connector is a different wiring pin-out.

I have done the conversion on my 2009. I changed the (all Black wires) wires in the headlamp to suit the body loom. Not a job for the faint hearted.

On the same subject, I have a MY2010 with 4 halogen bulbs. Can you confirm the “Xenon” units (6H52-13W029-GC & 6H62-13W030GE) from a similar year fit? I know the CCF will need to be reconfigured for Xenons. The ‘new’ lamp units have Xenon Projector lenses on the dip beam and halogens on main beam.
