Notorious on the RR and with ours I took the lamp out and had a hair dryer pumping hot air in a bulb hole for a good hour (not too close though) and it dried out nicely, then ran some clear silicon sealer along the top seam, was still dry after 6 months when we sold the car. Regards

I used hair dryer let it air for a day then sealed the unit with black silicone. |

My ex's Honda CRV, (an oldish one,) had about 3" of water sloshing about in the bottom, I took the lamp unit out and drilled a small hole, (about 4mm,) in the bottom on the inside back part and let it drain through there, refitted it and it's not been a problem since. |

Luckily the water came out of the top so no holes drilled.
