Best deals on Tyres

With the permission of the mods, I thought that it might be a good idea to start a rolling thread on the best current deals on Freelander tyres. After all, in these recession hit times its something that 'most'' owners will have to buy at some point in their ownership.

The prices of a set of 4 tyres can vary by as much as £200.......this is too much money to waste and one of the points of these forums is to save owners money.

So as not to upset anyone, it might be a good idea to post your recent good deals etc with prices only and if a member is interested then they can PM you to get details.........unless someone else has a better idea.

I will start the ball rolling by saying that the best deal that ive found so far for Wranglers 235/60/18 is £170.56 fitted (still too much in my opinion).

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Santorini Black

Just had Wranglers (17")put on the rear by Kwik Fit - Quoted £160 each but the invoice to my leasing company showed £262.40 for the pair. Shocked

Look on line as the prices are cheaper than if you just turn up and ask for immediate service. FL2 TD4 XS Santorini

I just got four new Wranglers for the price of a phone call, well all I had to do was ring the leasing office and they arranged it. Whistle

Seriously though, I don't get to see the invoices so can't comment on the cost, I made a call to the fleet office about 4pm yesterday, the tyres were fitted at my home address home by KwikFit mobile, the job was complete by 1.30pm today. So can't fault the prompt service. Thumbs Up

(Oh, did I mention I got 54,700 miles from the original Wranglers Rolling with laughter !) Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor Smile ... but not any more ... Big Cry ... psst look at my gallery!
Company cars ... a thing of the past - May 2013.

The site I've found quotes Cooper Discoverer ATR for £84.73 per tyre, inc VAT and delivery, but excluding fitting, which I've been quoted between £10 -15 per tyre, possibly cheaper if you know a friendly garage, I thought this was a bargin.
