Just on way home from NT site - pleasant walk around the grounds but still came across the inevitable coffee cup propped up in the branch of a tree, less than 100 yds from the exit. Still I suppose their cups are fully recyclable so in 50 years time it’ll be gone |

People have seemed to forget that all during the first lockdown/peak we were told there would be a second peak and another lockdown would be almost inevitable, but hey short memories for the press makes for better headlines today. Regards

The scenes on the news of celebrations outside Nottingham pubs the night before their lockdown typified the problem. Contrast that with the elderly diabetic guy living just outside the city with his wife, terminal cancer patient, who as he put it will be dying at home now, unable to get out her flat in the little time she has left, due to those people |

Can't disagree that the deliberately flouting the distancing guidelines are a problem that can only be resolved by shutting the pubs and maybe banning the sale of alcohol ? to stop them holding impromptu parties.

We have made some blunders down under & some state border issues really could have been managed a lot better. But I have to agree Covid is for the most an IQ test... with permanent failure! Our Son is a Doctor and has been during the first peak working in A&E Covid wards, he told us the biggest problem spreading the virus was density of population.......and he said he didn’t mean how close they lived together!
