Did anyone else notice the Chief Adviser in yesterdays Daily Update mention there could be another strain of Covid next winter.

Covid 21 ?? covid 22??

Which would need another vaccine ?

Hopefully a vaccination will be available by then which, like the seasonal flu vaccination, can be tweaked each year to accommodate any changes. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

Absolutely no respect for the hard working Royal Family.

Some of our empty shelf problem is the very restricted hours trucks can deliver goods mainly due to residential areas. Often with apartments above shops. At least for NSW our state government has overruled local councils & trucks can now deliver 24 hours a day. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Well one of our uk hauliers who carries for a large supermarket chain keeps going bust!

Then they get bailed out and go bust again!

They get the contracts by undercutting hardworking small and medium size transport companies, and are surprised when they don’t make any profit after seeing the true accounting figures!

I think they would have to run 30 hours a day to make it pay.

Bring back BRS

Some numbers for Australia, Qantas & Jetstar.

Additionally, Qantas annual wage bill is $4.5 billion, & now most are out of work 30,000 employees & will use up accrued annual leave then it's the doll queue!

We have a regional airline REX to & from towns around Australia, that's another story!

Just Sydney
(further down the link page is a list of all the towns which now have no flights from Qantas & Jetstar)

Sydney to Melbourne (88 return services per week, down from 250)

Sydney to Brisbane (50 return services per week, down from 142)

Sydney to Canberra (38 return services per week, down from 115)

Sydney to Perth (25 return services per week, down from 47)

Sydney to Adelaide (21 return services per week, down from 54)

Sydney to Darwin (7 return services per week, down from 11)

Sydney to Hobart (7 return services per week, down from 17)

Sydney to Gold Coast (14 return services per week, down from 28 )

Sydney to Cairns (7 return services per week, down from 14)

Sydney to Alice Springs (7 return services per week, no change) Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
