I have the winning ticket!

Only allowed 1 pack of each, other half was with me so she could have got 1 pack each as well, these are for someone else. We are fusspots & use Quilton king size 4ply as we have big arses!

Funny thing is I have never before felt embarrassed walking home with toilet paper. We had a few people ask where we got it.

All eggs gone.

Tooth paste vanishing!

Pasta.

Australia has plenty of food, it's just idiots buying way too much, but I can see why to some degree, due to the total lockdowns in other countries.

The supermarkets are currently trying to supply 50 million people & we only have 25 million. They don't have any more trucks as such & it's partly local council regulations limiting truck movements at night in residential areas. This maybe freed up a bit for a few weeks.

Give it a few weeks then there will be a glut of food & toilet paper. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

I can not understand this obsession with toilet paper during the current emergency. Of all the nasty things CV19 does to the body, giving one diarrhoea is not one of them. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

Australia is running out of freezers, people must be queuing them up in their garages & stackimg them two high!

With hindsight I'm glad our prehistoric fridge broke down on Christmas Day! We do have a small second fridge & the 28L Waeco worked brilliantly as a freezer, but we would be stuffed with 200kg of peas! Another thing that has vanished, frozen veggies!

Fresh milk has gone, can't work this out, its shelf life is not that long! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Had the same thoughts - why would you stockpile toothpaste, shower gel - Significant Other got talking to a woman in Sainsburys who said she'd been trying to buy a few 'feminine items' but they'd gone as well Shocked
Seems that if its on the shelf, someone will buy it - probably get home and think what the hell did we buy that for

To be fair, CV19 used to be a pretty shiitty part of Coventry as well, so bog roll would probably have been quite useful there! It was so bad, they re-assigned it to CV21 (BROWNsover!....no pun intended!!)
