United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver
Auto gearknob spring

After having forked out £40 for a new auto gearknob on my last freelander just for the broken spring, same thing just happened on my latest one and just to let folks know there are a couple of sellers on the popular auction site now selling the springs on their own for between £6 /£10 . Just fitted one and works a treat well chuffed .

It would be very useful if you describe how you go about fitting the spring, or directions to a manual.
