Wheel Alignment

Without going into lengthy detail, I have an issue with expert wheel alignment engineers and their services. It would greatly help if anyone can definitely answer; what causes wear on the INSIDE of the nearside (only) tyre?

The tyre which will wear the most on a Freelander 2 will be the front N/S on the outside edge that is 100%.

Website info suggests that 'Camber Misalignment' due to something broken or bent, is the most likely cause of the tyre wear.

The answer suggested is a good visual check to spot and rectify any problems, then wheel alignment.

As said above over zealous cornering only effects the outer tyre edges. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

Turning the steering wheel without the car rolling will add more wear to the tyres.

Pre power steering days it was hard work turning the steering wheel while stationary so you would have the car move forward or backwards at the same time to reduce friction. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

possible cause, wheel base on ns longer than os ,causing car to pull to the right, however slight, corrective steering to the left will cause the inside of the nsf tyre to connect first and wear quicker.cause of longer ns wheel base needs investigating,(assuming all joints and bushes are ok.
