As they are an Up-Date fitment and not standard for that model year, it depends on how they are wired
It is not a case of select on or off through a body control module.
I would say these have been wired through a 'switched live' ignition circuit.
Mine is an 09 plate, When I installed my up-date lamps I left all the wiring in the vehicle as it was and re-wired the internal wires of each headlamp.
Different people different ways.

I hope this helps.

You probably need to get someone to try different settings in the car configuration files. However, since these lights would not have been the originals fitted to the car, I wonder if there is a mis-match between the configuration settings available on the car and the lights available. The available options on mine are shown below, but i’m not sure that any of these would give you what you are looking for.

EDIT: Sorry, cross-posted with large red who has provided a better answer! (Although he confirms my suspicion that the CCF settings don’t give you the options you need). 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

The DRLs will be far too bright at night when left in daylight mode.

You can buy a DRL day/night switching box as an accessory from loads of places, take a search on eBay or the like. Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......
