Much the same as LM grease I guess, very high temperature grease or (which I use) just wipe the threads with Copaslip anti seize compound before inserting. Regards

That spark plug grease is more likely a graphite grease. Good anti seize properties and conductive too. Copper grease would do the job too.

This is not grease. According to the MSDS for the product, it is 20% or less graphite, 50% or more water and the rest is a proprietary thickener and a pigment. It's made by ACHESON COLLOIDS COMPANY of Port Huron, Michigan. Recommendations on use... Apply sparingly to second and third threads. Do not contact electrodes as it could short out the plug. Yes, putting copper grease into aluminium is just throwing gas on the fire. Copper is a metal. Dissimilar metal corrosion doesn't really care which two metals its working to destroy. |
