Aston Martin - a Stroll in the park ??

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-51323241

AM need half a billion cash injection.

When AM was released from LR some years ago, Dave Richards (he of ProDrive) put together a consortium of Middle Eastern money to fund the venture. Looks like the begging bowl is out again !!!

Wonder if their new operations over with us will go as soon as they've used up the WA bribe Embarassed Oopps grant?

What a shame... that's not good for 'our' Max Verstappen. Red bull racing now lost the main sponsor from 2021 Crying or Very sad 'per aspera ad astra'

Ahem!

They were released from Ford (who may just have happened to own LR simultaneously)

Ford Motor Company has sold Aston Martin to a consortium led by Prodrive founder David Richards, Aston Martin collector John Sinders, and Investment Dar and Adeem Investment Co, two international investment companies headquartered in Kuwait.

..... and Ford did own LR at the same time. In Gaydon JLR and AM all operated from the same site.

Half a billion is a lot of cash to keep solvent, one would suspect that it is for an investment or a buy out. Merc engine division or an electric investment? my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
2012 HSE SD4 In Orkney Grey now gone, best car ever.
